About Pro Mom
Pro Mom is a non-profit professional organization for Mississippi midwives. Our membership is open to all Certified Professional Midwives, Certified Nurse Midwives, Direct Entry Midwives, student midwives, IBCLCs, CLCs, and other supportive roles. We are dedicated to providing support to midwives and consumers in Mississippi through education and advocacy.
Our Approach
At Pro Mom, we aim to promote group movement and community support for midwives and consumers in Mississippi. We provide resources and education to our members to ensure that they have the necessary tools to provide excellent care to their patients. We also engage in advocacy to ensure that midwives and their clients are able to exercise their rights and access the care they need.
Our Story
Pro Mom was founded by a group of midwives in Mississippi who recognized the need for a professional organization that could provide support and advocacy for midwives and consumers in the state. Our organization is growing and we are proud to be a leading voice in the midwifery community in Mississippi.
